Should Kaepernick Play in the NFL Again?
In light of the massive protests that have taken place due to the deaths of George Floyd, Breona Taylor, and Amhaud Arbery, the NFL, and specifically the commissioner, has apologized for not listening to the NFL players about what is going on, and what has been going on since the protests started.
What he did NOT say, was that he apologizes to Colin Kaepernick, who has become the NFL martyr for protests against police brutality, being completely ostracized from the league.
My question to you is two fold:
Do you think Roger Goddell’s apology was sincere, or do you believe that it was then attempting to take advantage of the spotlight that supporting the Black Lives Matter movement affords them?
If they extend an offer to Kaepernick to potentially workout for a team or teams, should he accept, or should he reject the offer? Why or why not?
